Expected use
The ELISA kit for the Anti-HBcAb test is a rapid test to qualitatively detect the presence of Anti-HBcAb in a serum or plasma sample.
Summary and explanation
The One Step Anti-HBcAb Test is a qualitative solid phase competitive inhibition immunoassay for the detection of Anti-HBcAb in serum or plasma. The membrane is precoated with recombinant hepatitis B core antibody in the test line region of the strip / cassette. During the test, the serum sample reacts with the particle coated with the recombinant Hepatitis B Core antigen.
The mixture migrates up the membrane chromatographically by capillary action to react with Anti-HBcAb on the membrane and generate a colored line. The presence of this colored line in the test region indicates a negative result, while its absence indicates a positive result. To serve as a procedural control, a colored line will always appear in the control line region indicating that the appropriate volume of sample has been added and membrane absorption has occurred.
