Expected use
The Treponema pallidum One-Step Antibody Test (TP) is a convenient and rapid immunochromatographic assay used for the qualitative detection of Treponema pallidum antibodies in a human serum sample. It is intended for professional use as an aid in the diagnosis of syphilis. This trial provides only a preliminary result. Clinical experience and professional judgment should be sought to further evaluate the test result.
Summary and explanation
One Step Anti-Syphilis Strip Test is a direct binding rapid test for the visual detection of anti-syphilis antibodies in serum to aid in the diagnosis of syphilis infection. Test results are read visually without any instrument. It is based on the principle of the double antigen sandwich immunoassay for the determination of antibodies against syphilis in serum. Purified recombinant syphilis antigens are used to specifically identify anti-syphilis antibodies. This one-step test is very sensitive and only takes 10-20 minutes.
